My kid does have hair.
Not much, and certainly not enough for pigtails (I cannot even start to illustrate my envy of those of you who CAN- ahem- LC, Aubrey, Claire, Emily- this would be YOU- but we won’t get into that…), but she does have some.
Piper has almost the exact same color of skin and color of hair as I do. Which is lovely, because my hair is almost skin-toned. So it “blends” very well, and sometimes I forget how much she actually does have.
In an (albeit somewhat lame) attempt to remind myself that she IS growing hair, and that maybe, just maybe, one of these years I can do cute girly hair styles on her, I took these.
I will admit that it’s a far cry from the cueball-esque style of a year ago, and that means something, right???
LC would be the FIRST to tell you piggies are overrated...especially when the mere sight of you can send someone IMMEDIATELY into a DQ ice cream cone craving. Love, LOVE, it PiperPicklePants!
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better...my first three were BALD until almost 2. For a long time, I didn't even know what to do with Aubrey's hair...it was so foreign to me:)
ReplyDeleteUltrasounds show that this newest little one has hair already too, so I"m interested to see what that means...still seems foreign to give birth to a kid with hair!
Piper looks throughly unimpressed with your bath time antics! And Claire would tell you pigtails are over rated too. That little girl just SEES a rubber band and she tries to get away from me!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you in the envy department! We took some funny photos the other day and I wasn't going to post any, but now I think I will. Piper's hair looks much better than what you will see on Sweet Pea in a bit...
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Lc's mom it's not all fun and ponytails. it's morning hair wars, and actually having to buy baby conditioner, and because my daughter was born with a mini wig on she could never wear a cute headband. they just made her hair stand straight up.
