Piper spent 7 weeks in the NICU. This was Piper the day after she came home from the hospital; she weighed a little over 5 pounds. And it was the first time that her Grandpa got to hold her.
Piper is still pretty clingy to just a few people. She loves everyone, of course, but Luke or I need to be close when she's with most people.
One exception is her GRANDPA. And he just had a birthday, but we'll be nice and not advertise WHICH birthday we celebrated last night.
I do believe, however, that Mom will advertise that he's older than she is. Or so I've heard a few times.
Piper loves the constant tug-of-war that inevitably occurs over her at Nana and Grandpa's house. Spoiled? Doted on?? Loved??? Take your choice of phrasing, but they all fit.
