I too wa...I just got done reading your story, wow. I too was 26 when I had my Ella. My quad-screen came back that I had a 1 in 201 chance of having a baby with Ds. After some high tech ultrasounds they assured me that she had no "signs" of having Ds and that I should not worry at all. So, we didn't have the amnio. Well, Ella was born at 34 weeks and we were so worried about her being premature, we were shocked to learn she had Ds. Oh what a ride! Ella is 3 now and is fabulous.
